Autistic & ADHD Therapist who specializes in therapy for Autistic teenagers and their families in Florida

“I don’t Even Recognize my Kid Anymore.”

If parenting your autistic teen feels like walking on eggshells, you’re not alone, and there’s a way through this

I help teens who are overwhelmed, shut down, misunderstood and can’t pretend to be “fine” any longer. If the world feels too loud, too much, or just not built for your teen, you’re not alone.

You’re not broken. You’re Burnt Out.

You’re doing everything you can to help your child and still, every day feels like a battle. Maybe your teen:

  • Explodes over small requests … or says nothing for days
  • Shuts you out, then lashes out
  • Lives in their room, on a screen, avoiding everyone
  • Can’t handle school or friends – and won’t talk about it
  • Seems totally unreachable, no matter how hard you try

You love them deeply. But right now it feels like you’re losing them–to anxiety, to overwhelm, to something you can’t quite name.

You’re not a bad parent.

You’re an exhasted one who hasn’t had the right kind of support yet.

What I Do

Therapy that helps your teen feel safe and helps you breathe again.

As a neurodivergent therapist (Autistic and ADHD), I work with families navigating the teen years: meltdowns, shutdowns, school refusal, masking, missed diagnoses, and total burnout.

Together, we focus on:

  • Building trust with your teen (so they stop seeing you as the enemy)

  • Understanding their behavior through a neurodivergent lens

  • Supporting self-regulation without constant power struggles

  • Teaching life skills without losing your relationship

  • Calming your home — one honest, workable strategy at a time

This is not about forcing your teen to “act normal.” It’s about helping them feel safe, capable, and connected on their own terms.

“We’re not walking on eggshells every minute anymore. We enjoy our time together. That’s huge.”

Why Me?

Because your teen has to feel safe before anything changes — and I know how to earn that trust.

I’m not just trained to work with Autistic teens — I’m one of them, grown up. I’m also the parent of six kids, with varied needs of their own.

I’ve lived through the meltdowns, the masking, the “what’s wrong with you?” moments. I’ve been the kid who couldn’t explain why everything felt like too much. I’ve been the parent who didn’t know how to help.

Now I work with teens who are misunderstood, overwhelmed, and shut down — and help them find ways to cope, communicate, and slowly reconnect with the people who care about them most: you.

And I support you too — because you’re hurting, and you matter here.
